El Presidente Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 You have so much to learn. It is a warning about drink drivers ;-)
shrink Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 It's the same reason that they post "Deer Crossing" signs here in the States. Otherwise, the deer are liable to cross anywhere, which could lead to a great deal of accidents. Just be reassured that your government is looking out for your welfare, mate!
xibbumbero Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I think they misspelled BLIND. It should read BLAND. X:-P
strayvector Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Probably for the same purpose they put braille keypads on drive ATMs here in the US.
Minismithy Posted November 15, 2008 Author Posted November 15, 2008 i was walking home this afternoon from uni and noticed this sign at a pedestrian crossing... anyone else a little confused by this one and how the blind are supposed to know this? another fantastic example of good aussie design and thinking (yes i did get the actual purpose)
