Miami101 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Bone fishing........................................ Sound good
Ken Gargett Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 just shows it pays to be first back so you can spread the lies and write history in your image. i'm still in LA at the airport and another 24 hours waiting and travelling. rob lost the cigars (or possibly macho) but most likely rob - actually he probably knicked them amd will be offering them any day now! actually, they were not hamlet's (but he is doing don rodolfo's and they are absolutely sensational) but rather, his brother, who is showing every sign of being another star. he worked on the mid sized cohiba maduro 5 range. macho is a complete dill - aside from losing our cigars and the yquem (and his luggage on the way home), he insists that the fish in the pond at the ambos is a bonefish - if you asked the staff if it was a great white, they'd nod furiously. si. si .si. by the way, it is not a bonefish. much more that we cannot tell (but i may let slip that rob's latest squeeze is suzanna. that suzanna happens to be about 68, and perhaps no longer in condition to strut the catwalk, and kept sneaking peeks of rob when he was sleeping, was a team joke. 'pretty, pretty, pretty" she said as we left, pinching his cheeks. the proof will be where we stay next year. my greatest relief was that everyone else had left the island before the unfortunate 'nude in the corridors of the nacional' incident. ever seen that ad where a door blows shut and you are caught wrong side of it with less on than you might usually wear? happened mid arvo and things went badly downhill. back in a few days and looking forward to seeing what has been happening on the forum and what lies rob is telling. » ken and I are almost back folks after our 16 day Havana research and » development mission. To me a » case of Padron Anniversary meets Cohiba. Price line will be 10% above » normal Cohiba line but supply is limited to amount of 5 year old Maduro » leaf available. They won´t disclose anticipated quantities. Everyone » should have 10 box set aside for a special occasion. Ken Gargett Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 sorry, may have misled. the 24 hours included the time back to oz and given check-in timing and the rest, really meant that best case was an hour or two but more likely, a brief hello!
habanablue Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 So....how did Ken get on with this guy??:-D or have the photos been deleted?
