It's OK, digital technology becomes obsolete quickly. Automatics forever!

I have been wearing Rolex Subs for almost 20 years and will never give them up for some cheap electronic smartwatch. No way, no how.

Anyone that knows me knows I'm completely anal about time

Watches had been an obsession of mine for most of my adult life

Then I got an iPhone that never leaves me

The watch become redundant and I like not having a heavy thing on my wrist

Sad, but true

I had a Citizen Ecodrive, then I lost it somewhere.

Recently picked up an ESQ by Movado. It was $100 and gets the job done. Nothing fancy since I wear it all the time.

I have a Galaxy Note 5 that never leaves me. But it is no substitute for a Rolex Submariner. Some of us have a passion for mechanical watches just like our passion for Cuban cigars. It's a hobby.

I can't play with you boys and your luxury watches, but I do love my Seiko 5:

Nice watch! Classic, timeless design. Is that a current production watch?

My only real watch of note is this Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, model 3570.50. I worked on a NASA science mission in the early 2000s (while the tech sector in silicon valley was in ruins), so I feel like I earned it. smile.png

Thanks! It's a bit of a mish-mash, actually. Dial/movement from the SNKL41, case/stem from the SNKE75 (to accommodate a 20mm strap),

and a Hirsh Duke strap.

The steel and rose gold one?  I love that one the most out of the Yachtmaster series.

it is NICE.  But I really dig the new one with the blue seconds dial.  Or just the blue face one.  I like blue!

Today I made the mistake? of  dropping by my local watch shop. I have owned well over 100 luxury watches and had finally settled on my 3 favorite watches. A Gold Rolex sub, a black SS Rolex Daytona, and a black/blue Rolex GMT Master. I have had 3 APs through the years and have regretted selling them. I have always lusted after an AP Royal oak offshore chrono. Today , in a weak moment I pulled the trigger. Very happy with the purchase

I  have worn this exact watch 3 times a week since 3007 purchase. Definitely one of the best watches on the planet. Beautiful classy functional. Thanks for posting

The royal oak vs Patek was a tough choice. I sold all my Pateks  like a dummy. I may pick one up after this one is paid off. There is some killer financing on luxury watches in this area. Another hobby that will get you in trouble fast
