BrightonCorgi Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 I like to use Tourneau in the States to do watch service. They add an additional year of warranty and end up sending it to the manufacturer for most brands. I had them service and IWC that crapped out a week after their warranty and they fixed it for free. 2

Generally yes. The more complicated, the more time, the more cost. And if there are parts needing replacement that will factor in. But all-in-all I can make deals 😁 Not sure if that is allowed on FOH

It's from the manufacturer. Omega actually has their service prices posted on their site. They recently increased them from around $450 to $700. I know they replace the seals and any other parts that wear over time. Generally they send back all of the parts they replaced as well.

I have a few saved in the “watches” file of photos on my phone but never have been able to find THE FM when I was ready. Enjoy it Rob. It is just beautiful. CB 2

Popular Post Baccy Posted June 12, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 12, 2023 Amazing how old this thread is... Still going strong almost 20 years later! lol. I'm really liking the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades models and considering whether to trade my Submariner and get something more practical like the Seamaster... 😎 5

My wife has an Aqua Terra and she loves it too. Really easy to set the date/time. The hour hand moves separate from the minute hand when adjusting. Makes it a breeze! 1
Bijan Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Ticwatch 5 Pro AMOLED, LCD display, LCD without backlight, can chose from over a dozen backlight colors. 3
Bijan Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 1 hour ago, El Presidente said: What is the battery Life like Bijan? Very good. Seems about 3 days with fairly heavy use. Though putting AMOLED screen on always on or abusing the WiFi will cut it significantly shorter. I did both the first day (put AMOLED screen always on and downloaded 400 songs and 100 podcast episodes). Another nice thing is that it has an airplane mode + LCD only mode, that lasts 45 days. When battery hits 10% (configurable), it goes into that mode and you get an extra 3-4 days of power reserve with just date/time/pulse/steps displayed (also does that while you sleep, configurable times, detecting if you are motionless or have taken off the watch). 1
Popular Post MCDO Posted June 14, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 14, 2023 Waited 2 months for this. Got it a day before my birthday. My first Rolex. 11

Popular Post JBV cigars Posted June 15, 2023 Popular Post Posted June 15, 2023 I have slowly been gravitating to some Tudors…this is the BlackBay 58 and in my opinion one of the best looking, well balanced, and perfect sized watch. Love symmetry although I do miss the date function. Happy Hump Day 7
dominattorney Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Continuing on my theme of Chinese watches, here is a San Martin version of the rolex two tone. Looks great on a brown leather strap too, but here it is sported on the original bracelet. 4

They like to take their time. I've had watches out almost 6 months with them. Great watch!
