I feel I’m amongst the few remaining who prefer the larger pieces. I won’t buy anything smaller than 42mm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have worn this watch daily for 15 years ish, I have a manual job, dont worry about babying it! Mine gets a hard life. Must admit I have had the strap re-pinned more then once mind, not an expensive thing to have done. On the flip side I have had two panerais, safe queens, both have there movements fail, rubbish! 2

Popular Post Arman818 Posted December 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted December 18, 2022 Picked up a new planet ocean Chrono ceramic. I love the 8500 with an orange bezel and that is my daily. With the prices coming down I found the excellent deal on this and I couldn't pass up on it. Being ceramic makes it completely scratch proof and the rubberized bracelet and ceramic clasp look so great in this combo! I'm gonna attach a few of the collection as well but I Mainly wear these 2 omegas lol. PS. I am also a fat guy with a fat wrist so everything is 40mm or above. Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk 9

Awesome watches Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk Of course. It was more of an accomplishment watch for me. I'm was not a fan as almost every vintage day date I had seen had major bracelet stretch. The one I have is the 228238. It is 40 mm and prior to that they released a special 2 year run of a 41 mm day date but it was not a big hit because a lot of people thought the bezel was too fat. They updated it shortly with the 40 mm model and included new bracelet end links, ceramic pins so the bracelet will not stretch over time, and this absolutely beautiful motif dial which I guess may have been discontinued this year. It's absolutely the most comfortable bracelet I have worn as well. Originally I was going to go for the rose gold but the color was a bit too pinkish for me. Included a bonus picture of mine and the wives. Hers is the 36 mm with a champagne dial which is pretty iconic if you ask me. Notice the size. Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk 6 1
dominattorney Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 Everyone's gonna hate me but my favorite watch at the moment is a pagani design rootbeer GMT "homage"

Not sure yet if I will pull the trigger at 60K+, but want to see it in the flesh and try it on. 1

The weight is pretty substantial too. I think it weighs 265 grams as opposed to the 230 grams of the gold. I almost pulled the trigger on the platinum Daytona at 45k but I couldn't get past the chocolate bezel!Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk 1

I buy it to wear. The new Platinum DD has a fluted bezel. The smooth is discontinued. 2

I understand A lot of people don't like the money aspect of watches. 15 years ago It was definitely a hobby You could buy any what you want at retail whenever you want it. Now unless the market gets noticeably worse I have to pick and choose what watches I buy. I have had a lot of regret with certain watches such as the AP Royal Oak. I thought I wanted one for years and then when I got it I realized that the bracelet was so uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Took a few thousand dollars loss on the watch and I was ok with it. Now that watch is almost impossible to find at retail unless you have a big purchase history. It's become an unfortunate game.Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk 1

That plus the current craziness of CCs is making me consider pulling the trigger on a fancy watch. I always thought I'd rather have a dozen boxes of Esplendidos and Lanceros than a luxury watch. Now it's less than half a dozen boxes... 2

The day where you can walk into an authorized dealer and buy a watch MSRP or the day you can walk into a LCDH and buy what cigar you want not what's available.Sent from my SM-N986U1 using Tapatalk 1
