Different issues with them that I personally don't like keep turning me off. I change my watch, an analogue quartz, every 10 -15 years. Last year I got this, The Frederique Constant FC-200RS5S36 as part of an Irish tax-avoidance scheme. RRP about €400. It's simple, accurate to within a second a week. 39mm wide and 5mm thick. Perfect watch for me. 5

I'm definitely too OCD for that. Rather it runs 10s fast than 1s slow... Otherwise I'd always be afraid of missing 24:24.

Bijan Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Applied my OCD powers to my $100 automatic. Might not have precision, but it's about as accurate as my quartz watches now. I just alternate resting it crown up or crown down overnight based on if it's fast or not. 1

What about whether you wear it on your left wrist or right wrist? How about if you wear it on your left wrist during the day and right wrist during the night? Does it make a difference if you are at work, out exercising, or sitting at home watching TV? What about temperature? Does it change based on the seasons? How about altitude? 1
