bikeguy1 Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 » Thanks Rob. Something interesting and worth knowing. Rob...very interesting...I printed it up & sat outside smoking a RyJ Short Churchil while I read!
canucks6024 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 interesting stuff, sometimes the cuban way of doing things is just so hard to comprehend for north americans
aavkk Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Hey Rob I understand your Spanish is mas o menos mediocre but any chance the next time you are in Cuba you could introduce yourself to an official taster and have he/she contribute to the forum. That could be very insightful. Thanks for sharing.
CanuckSARTech Posted July 27, 2010 Posted July 27, 2010 Good write up, Rob. My wife and I had the chance to poke our heads in on one final prototype-tasting session of these, back when we made our last trip to Cuba (April 2008). From the best that I could gather at the time, they were making a final decision on what has become the Trinidad Robusto T. Not officially told that at the time, but it was just my observation.

But who knows - maybe those that work for Habanos S.A. - Tabacuba have better access to the net now.
westg Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 Imagine the aroma that tasting team gets to experience....Thanks for this Rob
