Czar\'s SP Sanchos Date Code - Deciphered!

OSU EU 00 is what my box says. I can definitely read it plain and simple. So there you have it for the date of those Sanchos with the old warranty seals.

I think there were a couple of different coded boxes being shipped. My box is tough to make out, but definately isn't OSU. :-(

Oh. My other box is practically invisibe so I just assumed they were all close to or exactly the same.

The majority will be this date code as they all came in the same batch excluding a half dozen boxes which we had in the store prior.

What codes are the other ones? I missed out on these, but I was thinking about taking the plunge anyway since they'll soon be gone.

From what I have read, OSU EU 00 means the cigars were made in the Partagas factory in July of 1999.

I must have gotten one of the boxes that you already had in stock, Rob, as the code on mine is definitedly NOT OSU... It looks like "REC", but since there's no Cuban factory in history with that code that I can find, I *think* it's DEC -- which would be the Manicaragua factory in Villa Clara province. I can't make out the date code at all.

Actually, there is a REC code:

S. Espiritus:VCR, DUO, REC, PAS, USP, APE, LUL, CLO, SRA, OVU

I have seen multiple boxes from this factory over the 00-02 time period.
