Colt45 Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Over the past week or so, I've had two Bolivar CGs from an '03 box. Both were excellent, though they differed from each other flavor-wise. They did have something in common though - they both had quite a soothing effect on my demeanor - more so than any cigar I can recall. It made me wonder if the tobacco used in these came from extra lithium rich soil, or if it was the lithium effect at all. Whatever it is, if it comes in six-packs or intravenous bags, I'm in. (I'm just hoping it's not the "Smithy Effect")
Professor Twain Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Maybe it was the double scotch you had with it?????? Maybe Shrink can help us out on this one. What is the dose of lithium in a cigar versus a therapeutic dose?
Well Armed Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 I have heard the lithium theory before too. Yo Shrink get in on this conversation.
JMH Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I don't think that lithium would be present in large enough concentrations to have any real kind of effect.
shrink Posted September 9, 2006 Posted September 9, 2006 I have heard the lithium theory before too. Yo Shrink get in on this conversation. All I know is that if I don't take my lithium I stay up all night, smoke too many cigars, and call up every old girlfriend I can think of. :-|
