mailman Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 talked to my buddy the other day that i had an interst in getting some cubans. anywho, he does some runs to philly airport and he knows some peeps who are a little shaddy, but cool that work there. just so happens one is going to cuba and another to canada and he said that he'll be getting cubans for me. what kind and how much i don't know. now my question, if they come straight from cuba does anyone ballpark estimate how much? i'm eagerly anticipating the weekend! i have a feeling i'm going need to need a bigger humidor! this must be heaven....

Professor Twain Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Danger, danger, you could be getting ripped off with fakes and you wouldn't even know it. Unless you personally know the person going and they buy it from an official shop, you could get scammed. Don't pay a nickel for cigars that a friend of a friend says they got from Cuba. And the taxes are so high from Canada, Rob can definitely beat that. A word to the wise... http://www.cigarnexus.com/counsel/counterfeit/index.html

El Presidente Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 There is a website link that lists retail Cuba prices for cigars (if anyone can post it, it would be appreciated). Just ensure whatever they charge you it is inlne with those prices. Anything less and you will be puchasing fakes :-|

Professor Twain Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 You have already found Paradise here, don't take a chance. Rob and Lisa will take good care of you.
