Trevor2118 Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Hi Friends. I have started-up a Cuban Cigar information website and the El Presidente (many thanks Rob) has approved the listing of the link for comments, suggestions, and ideas for improvement. The site has no reviews, forums, sales, or advertising. It is a free site with unrestricted access and no passwords. What it does contain is details, information, checklists etc for Cuban cigars that hopefully will be useful to many. The most important goal is to provide an informative and up-to-date website. The link is: http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com Many thanks.
skid11 Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Well Done Trev........................ The cigar info section is excellent.
DrAlejandro Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 real nice site buddy... eager to see how it progresses
PorscheC4S Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Sounds great. I can't wait to check it out and report back!

Tampa1257 Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Just a suggestion, but upon a quick look see, on the page where you have the photo's of the different vitolas, the photo of the VR Famosos and the Familiar are reversed with the description.

Many thanks for looking & for the advice....I have rectified the problem.
Trevor2118 Posted June 23, 2006 Author Posted June 23, 2006 » Very cool site, love the size charts! Many thanks for the feedback...........the checklists are now out of Draft mode but still subject to a final check and yet need to be made printer friendly.
PorscheC4S Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 I've really enjoyed the time I've spent browsing your excellent site so far. It contains lots of valuable information and seems very well thought out. I've marked it as a favorite and look forward to many more visits. Keep up the good work and congratulations!
JMH Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Nice site, I really like it. It has a good simple layout and a good range of information. Really easy to use.

Trevor2118 Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 » Well Done Trev........................ The cigar info section is » excellent. Many thanks for the great comment......site should be 90-95% by the end of July..........then I'm going on holidays. Hope to have it 99% by end of year. :-)
DocRKS Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Thanks for the time & effort you spent on all our behalfs in putting this site together, Trevor. Would you consider adding a section that helps 'break the code' on the NIVELACUSO , NETAGIDOCU & other Date Codes --- It would be great to have all of this info all consolidated in 1 place...... Thanks again

Thanks again Happy to add this but (currently) I don't have a lot of time & (more importantly) I don't have a lot of personal knowledge (on the factory codes). I will put my current data together and troll the WWW to confirm info. Will certainly put it on my "to do" list. PS The date code section will be relatively easy to do....it is the factory codes that are a problem. HOWEVER if we have a specialist on this subject, info can be emailed to me & I would be happy to include it on my website. In fact, any appropiate contributions would be considered for inclusion. Don't want to get too specialised or abstract but if it's useful and informative it will go in. Regards, Trevor. :-)

Okay, have just completed the date code section. Will be doing something on box inscriptions, labels, & seals shortly. The DATE CODE section can be viewed at: http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/5-cigars.htm#Box_Date_Codes The main brand listing as just being completed in its final format (I went through quite a lot of styles before I was happy). I have yet to add all the new world 2006 releases. Again, if anyone finds any errors please let me know, either through the forum or by email. Cheers, Trevor. Link corrected 18Nov06
