Have you ever asked Rob or Lise via email?

There have been a few Items that I wanted that they may have a box or two around the humidor that they have not punched into the computer for ordering that when I asked I was told that they had available. You might get lucky! As far as volume, the QdO is not a very high volume brand I would think, yet I too have enjoyed them.

It's SUPPOSED to be intended for the French market, but seeing how tons of sites manage to stock it, none of which are in France, I'm guessing Habanos doesn't limit its distribution to just there.

But only Rob can tell you for sure.

I'm interested in try this marca as well. With other selections, I've contaced Lisa directly and found they stock 'em, but haven't listed them due to local interest only (e.g. Punch RS #11)

Thanks for bringing this up....I've also wondered about the stuff that's not listed on the intl site.

Perhaps Rob and Lisa can prepare a list of stuff that isn't on the regular list but is actually stocked. Many times I have wanted to order something but hesitated cos it's not listed. I know it's just an email away, but I feel Rob is missing out on impulse buying that comes with looking at a tempting list.

I am in agreement with this!

All for the impulse buying, respond in kind.:hungry:

I'll buy anything, just to try it... ASK MY WIFE!:-D

In all honesty, asking the source is the best way to find out if they have something that you want.

True, they might not have it but they might be able to get it in for you.

However, if you don't want to contact Rob or Lisa, thats fine too.

It just means more for me. :-D

Wow, haven't had a good QdO Imperial in a long time. That and a LGC Tainos have to be the best morning smoke while waiting for the wife to get dressed. :-P

» yes but how do u feel about the cigar Prez?

I am not going to lie to you (....this generally means stand by for a beauty  ).

I don't really like them. I try...I keep going back but I have found them in the main to be uninspiring. I have had one or two QD which have made me take notice but I need a little more entertainment a little more regulary.

Who here would put the QD at the top of the list in any given vitola? I would love to know why and what you see in it to rank it so highly?

This is all subjective thought. It may be that my buds are just not wired to what QD offers.

Well........If you offered them for sale, maybe we could try a few sticks!

I've seen a lot of people say good things about the corona. That's about it. That is the vitola I'm going to try first, but I'm not willing to test drive with a whole box.

Rob do you think the QDs just need some serious age? I have had younger one that were too light in the flavor factor, but a friend gave one that had some decent age (7 or 8 yrs) and it was much more flavorful. I don't though buy them -- too many other nice product out there, imo.

I'm not the best when it comes to reviewing cigars but the corona offers a distinct nutty breadiness to it. I like mainly full bodied smokes but this just produces alot of flavor for me. I wouldn't want to try the other vitolas as I think the coronas are the perfect size for the blend. Anything longer and I think the cigar would get boring.

I wouldn't put the Gran Coronas at the top of its class, but I am a very big fan of the unique flavour profile. It is a very aromatic cigar, with a herbaceous sweetness that is very clean. It develops a nce caramelized note towards the end, which blends very well with the subtle woodiness at its core.

I am a fan of the more subtle cigars. I also like Vegueros, so go figure :-)

I don't know that I would put them at the top of my list, but the Coronas Claros are certainly a staple for me. I have a box from Mar 05 right now that I'm finding it hard to keep away from. They are certainly oon the mild side, so I can certainly see why they are not a top-seller, but I find them extremely falvorful.

It comes down to "variety is the spice of life". Coronas are one of the 2 or 3 vitolas I smoke most often, and I like to keep a range of them. RIght now, int his size I have the QdO, Dip #3, Hoyo Du Roi, Partagas, VR Familiars, and a smattering of SLR coronas. I would be hard pressed to say which of these is my favorite - I like the fact that I have several to chose from, and enjoy smoking them all.

Hmm .. never had one but I've heard a few people say that they like them. There's so many other cigars that I don't have which are classics that I'd be hard pressed to pull the trigger on QdO in lieu of something else. I'd definately grab some singles to try though.

Sean - you may not have to wait long.

I had my first Imperiales last night. Nicely constructed and smoked well but on the mild side. Also while this one was gifted to me they are pricey for a mild cigar.
