gee rob, wish i was on your tour. it doesn´t sound anything like ours. but at least we now have a sanitised version of why we have not seen you for days.

picked macho´s wallet up from a restaurant today. he finally tracked down his passport this morning. man remembers nothing.

big dinner tonight but finally found a place that does good lobster. and cheap. $10 for a massive plate of really good lobster. nandos. you have to queue - it is packed with locals but worth the wait.

some more fun in old havana this morning and sent out the smoke signals for rob. seems he and ernesto are insepàrable. thank god i won´t be at the airport (i´m going sunday) as there will be gnashing of teeth and tears and screaming and some will have to drag him off. i´m sure ernesto will be upset as well.

krusty, liberace and myself had a last visit with hamlet. kept us in stitches. he was looking forward to meeting rob but it just couldn´t be arranged.

customs permitting, coming home with a good swag of hamlet´s salamones and robustos. star smokes. also found their last cab of punch ss2´s. look great. a few other joys.

i´m sure many of you were keen to hear the results of the cohiba press conference this morning. rob thought i was at it and i thought he was (as if he could be separated for ernesto for that long). but i did get a tip a little whilre ago. seems that it won´t relevant to many of us. they are called some spanish name beginning with ´b´- great help, i bet. they are apparently about the ring guage of a sublime and as long as a monte´A. there are 20 to a humidor and only 400 humidors made. they will cost around 12,000 euros a humidor.

i won´t be with you for a few weeks. seems someone has to visit the great restuarants and vineyards of france and spain so rob will have time to post endless lies. believe none of it.
