Your current favorite cigar(s)

For me it depends on my mood... but 2 that are hitting me nicely of late, the HU PCs from 03 that Rob has here (wonder heavy herbal flavor) and Partagas SdC No 1s from 03 (they show nice blast of rich earth and partagas pepper, which will get even better with time).

What have you been enjoying lately and why?

I'm still in the stage of trying as many different ones that I can trade for. I do like the RyJ marca best, followed by a close vote for H.Upmann and Partagas. Give me a few more years and I'll start having some stapels in my humidor.

I second the '98 R&J churchills, I also have some '98 R&J cedros 3's that are awesome.

Hmmmmm, what else, '98 monte 5's, '01 Mont #1's, oh yeah, for a new stick I'm liking the '05 Monte D EL's.

Rass and Famoso get burned quite a bit, along with LaPuntas.

For short smokes, Sc Principes, Party Shorts and Rassc.

The PSP2s that I have are just starting to turn around.

I usually stay away from the larger/longer smokes for time reasons.

I just got a nice cab of R&J Exh #4 and when I get a cab I smoke them like they were free. I am into the second cab or Boli CE and PC.

Well, whilst waiting on the mega sampler from Rob, I am sure enjoying the Bolivar Belicosos Finos as #1 but the close second is VR Familiars... way down on the bottom of the list is the R n J pc, wasnt much of a treat, sorry to say :-(

I have been on a Lahoya HDM kick for about 2 weeks. Just cant get enough of them. Today I tried the Depute. Just recieved a box from Rob 2 days ago and they smoke great already.

Still been burning up some Boli CE's from '99. Man have they come around to be a terrific smoke. Been blowing out some '98 Party PC's as well.

I have been trying to clean up my humidor a bit. With that in mind I am randomly choosing cigars less and really trying to knock off some half filled boxes. It is a tough job... but someone has to do it! -Piggy

Been smoking a lot of different things lately, but my favorites are probably the Partagas SdC No. 1 ('98), Bolivar CE ('98), and Punch Super Selection No. 2 ('01).

Also on the EL front, it's hard to say no to a Sublime or Monte D.

How could I forget Mag 50's! A good smoke now but one which will surely become great with age.

It first comes down to time, nothing like wasting 4 inches of tobacco. I think the VR are the most consistent smoke right now as a brand. I have a box of 99 Paratgas Conn 1 that is a new vitola for me and they are great a Rob recomendation). I save the Cohibas for a once/twice a week experience, but have found 04 ERDM Choix's a very close second. Smokin a 04 HDM Churchill right now with a diet coke watching Resevoir Dogs..............great flick, great smoke, no calories.

PSD4s are always at the top of my list. I'm looking forward to the PSP2s to mature.

MC4 or BPC depending on my mood. The BPC offers that 'in your face' Boli twang that I crave and the MC4 is beany (vanilla, cocoa, coffee), almost like a dessert.

Other current favorites: PLPC, Partagas Charlottes, Choix, Cosacos.

I just received a box of Montecristo No.5. Man, talk about a delicious little smoke. Right off the truck and smoking like a true champ. Great delicious mouthfuls of chocolate. Basically a chocolate EXPLOSION. 20-30 minutes. Treat her right and she NEVER gets hot; not once.

Recently Iv'e almost exhausted my supply of Boli PC from 03. Also The cabinet of 05 ERDM Choix Supreme are great right now! I doubt they will last the month. I'll say I"ll try something different but that damn ERDM jumps into my hand.

I am trying for the first time the DDM Des Dieux and I like them quite a bit.

Van55 are you a Boli fan????????? So am I. Min Ron NEE says if restricted to one Marca he would smoke Bolivar. We are in good company.
