Hi Guys

A few people are experiencing problems with logging onto the forum. The 2 main e-mail address are AOL and Hotmail accounts. Jason our computer genius has asked me to post the information on how to get around the fire walls these companies put up. If anyone continues to have problems please let me know.

Thanks

TFL

AOL spam filtering is blocking emails from the website. They've instigated a strict new policy of only allowing emails to AOL accounts from people on your email whitelist.

Please add the web address to your junkmail filter's whitelist.

A tuturial on how to do this can be found at http://continuinged.uml.edu/online/tutorial/AOL/

You can then request a new password from the Lost Password link on the website.

Drop your username and email address into the form and the site will generate a new one.

It looks like Hotmail has blocked the email and added it to your JunkMail folder.

Hotmail automatically deletes JunkMail after 5 days, which is probably why you won't find it.

Please add friendsoforis.com to Hotmail's Safe List and use the Lost Password function on FOOF to generate a new password.

Here's how -

Create a Safe List for incoming messages

To ensure that messages from specific e-mail addresses are not sent to your Junk E-Mail folder, you can add them to your Safe List.

Click Options.

On the left side of the page, click Mail, and then click Junk E-Mail Protection.

Click Safe List.

Type an address or domain (a domain is the part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign) from which you always want to receive messages, and then click Add.

Hi Lisa: I am one of the aol people having the problem. The instructions listed are for an old version of aol. I have opened all my security to all emails and websites and still have not recieved my purchase account password for BL68MUSTAN. I have tried what El and Jason have asked and still not working.

How long should it take before I see a new password?

Is it automatic or manual distribution?
