My cigars from El Prez's january special just started rolling in. Opened the door this morning and there was a small package waiting for me on the door step. Get back this afternoon and there was a larger package waiting for me. What a great way to spend Valentines Day, opening boxes upon boxes of cigars! Man are these babies gorgeous! Wonderful shades of milk chocolate. Some a deep chestnut brown. Open a box and that wonderful smell of the island justs wafts all over me. Boy am I going to have fun putting these into the humidor! Only one problem though... I've got to spend some time with the significant other! :rotfl: Decisions, decisions, what's a fella to do? Enjoy the day FOH family members; I know mine is looking (smelling) just great!

Congratulations GP! I can only think of a few better ways to spend Valentine's Day. However, as far as ways where one is fully clothed (I'm assuming :-P) opening cigar love packages is one of the best.

Congrats.

I enjoyed my valentines this past weekend.

Went to eat some crummy overpriced steaks at some wanna be jazz themed place..and to top it off they did not allow cigar smoking in the bar area. SO needless to say I drove down the street to the local watering hole. And finished off the night with a cple cervezas firas and a wonderful 04 VR Unicos and a 02 Bolivar RC.

Good god man, I hope you don't have a wife or a girlfriend that lives with you. Receiving packages for yourself on valentines day could turn out rather bad for you :lookaround:

Did not receive cigars on Valentine's day.

However, did have one of the best meals that I have experienced in a long time. And yes, the meal was an experience...fantastic (sweet potato puree soup with a spinach ravioli to start...followed by a 1/2 quail served over potatoes and a slight sweet sauce as an appetizer...then a light salad...entree, mustard-encrusted rack of lamb over yukon gold potatoes with mixed greens...finally, chocolate fudge cake, passion fruit creme brulee, and strawberries...all of this with a fabulous cab sav).

The rest of the evening I'll just leave alone...let's just say it had nothing to do with smoking cigars.;-)

... hence the name dawg... "Atomic Dawg... bow wow wow, yippe yo yippe yay, bow wow yippe yo yippe ya... "

Sounds like a nice evening. What was the name of the restaurant?:hungry:

» So, spill da beans what did ya get?

I ordered a sampling of the following:

Cohiba Siglo VI (heard so much about these)...

Alot of folks on the forum have been talking about thinner ring guages...

Cohiba Lanceros

Trinidad Fundadores

Montecristo Especialles

Partagas Conissueur #1

Vegeros Especial #2

And finally, I needed some Cold Weather smokes...

ERDM Demi Tasse

R y J Petit Julietas

Montecristo Joyitas

Cohiba Panatellas

Bolivar PC's

Not all of the goodies are in yet, but those that have arrived are looking real tasty.
