Popular Post djrey Posted April 15 Popular Post Posted April 15 Having had and enjoyed this blend in larger formats I was excited to see these little petit coronas at my local store. Same low price as yesterday’s black label, let’s see who wins. Starts out with creamy smoke consisting of slightly sweet baking notes along with toasted woodiness. Burn is great though does try to go out if puffed too slow. Again, trying to smoke these nice and slow so not to overheat and get that burnt pepper note. There is a touch of chocolate but I really like how it’s not overdone. This mostly just puts along with the creamy spice/wood notes. There is a hair of bitterness at the last quarter like I experienced with the Black label. Overall I think this may be the winner. Enjoyed the touch of sweetness here. 89 pts. 5
