TBuck Posted April 7 Posted April 7 If Australia can negotiate a better tariff deal, it's conceivable that Cuban cigars (bought through FOH) may actually benefit compared to NW cigars bought from other countries or the US.

All of this “deal” talk that I have hearing should have gone out the window by now. I kept telling people in January here and elsewhere - the tariffs are an end in themselves, not just a negotiating ploy. Everyone dismissed what I was saying because the alternative - that Trump is crazy enough to immolate the economy, seemed hard to believe. US already has a trade surplus with Australia. The 10% base tariff isn’t going anywhere bar a successful court challenge. 3
