I split a box six or seven years ago with a friend, he finished his half four or five years ago and loved them. Mine are sitting at the bottom of a big tupperdor. Every six to twelve months I re-visit them hoping for a change in fortune. This, Ditto. John I think I have the box code of these as you do because we have discussed them in the past. I just don't get them and how they are so cherished by so many on here.. 1
gormag38 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 PSD4 - man I keep trying, but I just don't get em. Have a HQ box from 21 I think that smells and looks glorious, but just doesn't taste good at all. RASS - Another popular one that I don't get. The one I've had out of a 50 cab was by and away the best, light wrap on it maybe helped? I too am surprised at all the votes for E2. They're near the top of the party line for me. (now if only they could get the PSD4s to taste like them ) 1
Havanaaddict Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 I just thought of another one Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial. Again it was a one off I bought a SLB of 10 and they were flat and tasteless, never bought another one! 3
Popular Post Chibearsv Posted April 7 Popular Post Posted April 7 I don't get Petit Robustos. If they taste good, they don't last long enough to enjoy them. One thing they are good for is burning fingers. 5

Hobviously we're all heathens as we don't hunderstand hand made products. Wouldn't catch hinfluencers moaning like this. 2
Lucas Buck Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Juan Lopez. Smoked a few of each vitola and all were blah to me, even several with 10-20 years age on them. 2
loose_axle Posted April 8 Posted April 8 The entire Montecristo line apart from the #2 and the Especial. Yet to try the Wide Edmundo though. Always struggled with Punch apart from the DC but have sticks hitting the 8 year mark from that marca that are starting to help me get what the fuss is about. HDM Epi No 2. I will try again soon but gee I've only ever had disappointment from these. 1

WestCoastSmokin Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Cuaba Salomon was a cigar I didn’t understand. Did not enjoy the vitola at all which was surprising to me as I thought I would have. QD50 as well, have heard great things about them but my box has been very disappointing. Still have some hope for those as they are barely going to have two years of age on them but still I definitely expected them to be AT LEAST average. 1

Strange as I love the rest of the line! Same boat here in enjoying most of the line but not the Royal Robusto, so far. QdO 50 has been hit and miss for me so far as well. 1
Bijan Posted Tuesday at 03:46 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:46 AM Vegueros, but I haven't had too many. Cuaba and Fonseca aren't great but I have had ok/good ones. 2

Popular Post Greenhorn2 Posted Thursday at 01:46 AM Popular Post Posted Thursday at 01:46 AM QDO 50s and Hoyo DCs are like smoking cigars that aren't lit, way too light for me. The box of Monte 2s I have wasn't rolled on virgin thighs, more like granny's butt cheeks. 1 4
