What cigar that you have smoked that you just don't get, or just sucked!

For me it was the Partagas E2! It was years ago and I did a split on a box and they were flat flavorless. Maybe it was that box but I just gave up on that cigar and never bought another one!

I’m giving a second vote on the E2. Back in the before time, I would buy the 5 packs and trade them with my local shopkeep for bucket price in beer! 1 bucket per stick. Everyone was happy😀

For me would be Partagas Lusi and Monte#2. Now the Monte 2’s I did just get a box of doh to give another go. The Lusi I sell or give away to a smoking buddy at this point.

Juan Lopez Seleccion No.2s. I have tried (to like them) and I am still doing so. I split a box six or seven years ago with a friend, he finished his half four or five years ago and loved them. Mine are sitting at the bottom of a big tupperdor. Every six to twelve months I re-visit them hoping for a change in fortune.

Hoyo Rio Seco. Tried and tried many of them, but still tastes like unflavored tobacco used in hookahs.

PSP2. Had one that was great, which set my expectations for others, which so far, have all been ‘meh’. Much rather a D4 or D5 even.

Mag 50 hands down. I have tried so many over the years. Had 50 cabs of the original releases and then boxes in between until around 2018, then I gave up. It needs more strength!! Haha

For me, I've yet to enjoy a Cuaba that hit on all cylinders. Probably smoked over a dozen of various sizes & all but maybe 2 had issues with burn, construction, draw, or a combination of them. Flavor-wise they just seem "meh", nothing memorable at all. 

Hope one day I'll get a good one...

I'm aligned on this one. However, I think there is still merit to the blends: if they ditched the perfecto conceit and made Cuaba as regular parejos, I think the brand would get more traction.

Round about 7 years ago I smoked a Solomon from 2008 that absolutely blew my mind and I have been scared to revisit the brand ever since.

I haven't really connected with Hoyo as a marque. I am very fond of the Rio Seco as a blend, not necessarily the size. The DC isn't my cup of tea, I have no idea what the Epi 1 is for, the Epi 2 is just ok. Maybe it's the cedar wood that turns me off. du Depute is my least favorite minutos.

Probably the Monte no 2, I've tried so many times but I just get poor construction, poor blending, won't burn, etc. I get that it's made in huge volumes so it's hit and miss, but I just get the misses constantly.

Quai D'Orsay No. 50 for me. I've tried five of them from two different production dates and have yet to enjoy one. Nothing really bad, just didn't tickle my taste buds at all. It hasn't helped that a couple were underfilled wind tunnels that were done with in around 35 minutes.

Wow lot of hate for the E2! I love that one easily one of my favorites. I never understood the love for Hoyo Epicure No.2. Practically gifted the box away.

I don't get the love for the Choix Supreme. It's like smoking a fatter Fonseca to me. Maybe I have a bad box or it just needs more time (LOS JAN 22).

Come to think of it I have never had a good one either! Strange as I love the rest of the line!
