Contrary to popular belief about throat cancer being predominately blamed on smoking, in men, the main culprit is HPV ( human papilloma virus). Excuse my vulgarity but bad pu..y kills. Get checked by your Ear Nose and Throat specialist yearly. Michael Douglas got nailed too.

Yeah same, still remember watching the gem Willow as a kid. R.I.P. Madmartigan.

I've got his poetry book Cowboy Poet Outlaw Madman: Selected Poems by Val Kilmer signed by him. Looks like it's time to dig around and break it out.

Sad news - RIP  Loved him in Tombstone, but that's about it for me.

One of my favorites. I was never a massive fan of Top Gun but his short moment in the sequel was very touching. The scene in Heat between his character and Ashley Judd, the silent goodbye, was just perfect. Tombstone will forever be a favorite. It’s a crime he was not considered for an Oscar or Globe in that role. The whole story of Tombstone’s production, with Kurt Russell ghost-directing, he and Val Kilmer rewriting the script and shot sequences, is fascinating.

RIP, Madmartigan

They shot some scenes for the Doors movie at the end of my street. I did not know about the movie and I was spinning a U-turn at the end of my street and suddenly there's Jim. He was by himself, in full costume, and he walked out right in front of me.

He was a dead ringer from 20 feet away :)

Kilmer really got into playing Jim Morrison. He demanded everyone on the set call him Jim at all times.

RIP Ice. He did such a great job with complicated characters like Doc. Man, he nailed that role.

It truly is eerie how the passing of the actors is following the order of the move Tombstone. Could never have guessed that when watching the movie way back when.

Also, so many incredible actors in the movie. Unbelievable!
