Oy vey... it must be an Aussie thing because I knew exactly what Rob was trying to do.

Starts off with Rob throwing down a box of BGMs, anyone who wants it grabs the BGMs and throws down a box they don't want (any box they no longer love, eg Wookie's Partagas E2), someone else who wants the E2 grabs it and throws down their box of Guantanemeras.... and so on and so on.

Boxes don't have to be of the same value, just something you would swap for the previous box.

Can we start over? I was really interested in this, and waiting for a box I wanted to to "trade" for come up. I had a whole plan.

Legendary thread. Thoroughly enjoyed reading, whatever ends up happening with it. :rotfl:

I think most people understand how it should work now, although I wouldn’t bet money on it.

If it's hypothetical, can I put up imaginary boxes?

I really want a box of E2’s. Eyeing up on BR. Hypothetically I would trade a box of Sancho Panza Gran Quixote’s LGR ABR 19 for these.

I have a bunch of these. Am I doing it right?

How do you guys play Snap in Aus?!

Here (in the UK), Snap works like this; a deck of cards is dealt out to all players of the game, then as many players as the amount of card allows, take individual turns placing cards in a pile and if the consecutively laid down cards match (usually numbers, but can be whatever type of cards you've chosen to use that have matching cards within the deck). The first person to slap the stack of laid down cards yells "Snap". This often can include every player, not just the layers of the cards. The winning player then takes the pile of laid down cards and adds them to the bottom of their deck.

That person then begins the next round, again, then when the next time two consecutive cards that are laid down match, the first person in the game to reach and slap the pile yells "Snap". This continues until someone has obtained all of the the cards in the game using the referred to "Snap" method. There is only one winner; the person who ends up with all the cards.

This is one of the first card games we play and teach kids (or adults!), here in the UK. Perhaps what has happened here is that the game has been contaminated/infiltrated by our different, regional versions of the game known as we know as "Snap".

I'd love to hear all you thoughts regarding this game and how it is played in your different regions, then hopefully play the original game El Presidente initially presented, as intended, which when presented, was not "Snap" as we know it in the UK, but a great idea for a fun hypothetical game!

Peace and love to all you fellow FoH aficionados!
