Popular Post Squarehead Posted Monday at 09:35 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 09:35 PM Well tomorrow April 1st my wife and I celebrating our 59 wedding anniversary. Thinking back nobody on both sides of our family gave us more than 2-3 years. We showed them all how it's being done. 4 years into our marriage, we had enough with their interference so we packed up and immigrated from Germany to Canada. It was not always easy but we prevailed. Cheers to us🍾 34 5

Popular Post Squarehead Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM Author Popular Post Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM On behalf of my wife and myself I would like to thank everybody for your warm wishes. To make it this far is not all that difficult. We did everything together and helped each other, that in turn gave us more time to be with each other. There is no such thing in our household us mine and yours. Major purchases will be discussed. We both did not have a very nice childhood after the war and we promised not to raise our kids the way we were raised and we succeeded. Sadly our oldest son passed away almost 16yrs ago so all our energy went to our 2 grandkids and there is no better feeling as when they come to visit and they hang around your neck at age 20 and 22 respectively and tell you how much they love you and thank you for every thing you did for them. I must say our late son was single and had no kids. Not everything was easy and clear sailing but one must stay positive and not give up. Ok and thanks again. 6 1
