Plume or Mold - Smoke or Not - Thoughts and Criticism (RyJ Churchill Tubos)

I know this topic has been spoken about many a times, but when it happens to you, you just wonder. Any thoughts would be appreciated. If good to smoke, what's the cleaning technique? Just got this box from a friend that bought it for me, I believe from Germany.  Box Code GER / SEP 23

It's always mould, it's just whether you personally judge it to be dangerous or not. If that was my stick I would brush it off and smoke no issue, it's just down to personal preference.

Appears to be mold in my opinion. (Plume = Unicorn, maybe they exist, maybe they don't.  You can decide.) As long as it is not on the foot, I'd wipe it off and smoke it.

It happens. I wipe it off with kitchen roll. Rule of thumb seems to be that is good if it's not all over the foot.

I'd use a damp paper towel to gently wipe it off the wrapper. Any mold or plume or other white shit in the foot means it goes in the trash for me.

If there is no mould in the foot, I would simply wipe off what you see and smoke when I feel like it.

The Foot is Good. Nothing on it. Just the wrapper.

Wipe and smoke, I use a micro fiber cloth for mine.

Looks like a perfectly normal R&J Tubos. 

The mould is likely Cladosporium (Hormodendrum). I prefer Aspergillus personally.

Aspergillus does have those earthy notes, in contrast to Hormodendrum’s floral.
