Popular Post teamrandr Posted March 22 Popular Post Posted March 22 Nicely rolled cigar with a beautiful wrapper. 1/3 Initial draws are pepper. It moves into a sourdough/yeast note. Chocolate is now in play. Baked bread, touch of honey, and like zesty spice under all of it. 2/3 The baked goods aspect lingers on the palate. Touch over medium body. I am getting some Partagas note of almost a bell pepper or something like that. Bread/baked goods, pepper of sorts, chocolate. Final 3rd The progression is nice. Chocolate notes are taking the lead here. The baked goods I must say has some complexity. I am having trouble discerning all the notes. Which is interesting considering my background in baking/pastries. I will attempt to pinpoint it. It is sour/yeast, with notes of whole grain, notes of a pretzel/charred crust, burned cookies. Those baked notes and chocolate. I would rate this as: A really great value. The price point on these is great. The construction has been flawless. These have only been down for a couple weeks at my place and smoking great. The baked goods note is well thought out. This is what great blending does. 10 1
El Presidente Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I have been ploughing through a bundle of Queen C's over the past 10 days. 91-94 with little time down. I would recommend 30-60 days. 3
