It really depends on the day. Some days it's a nice peaceful walk in the beautiful outdoors. That really seems to be the main theme with all the others sprinkled in depending on the day. Some days it's a walk with a podcast or a friend/family member joining me. Could be a walk with a Podcast or Music as well. Mostly, I'd say it's a nice peaceful walk in the beautiful Alaskan outdoors.

Tough to answer this. I like every one of these scenarios. Top choice would be peace and quiet, with a great beer or whiskey, being mindful of the experience.

My absolute favourite place is on a semi private beach near where we live in the South West UK. We live in a holiday destination so it's always heaving in summer, which I like, even if the visitors can't drive to save their lives. The hustle and bustle on the normal beaches is great fun and the kids always find a friend or three to entertain themselves with.

If you take a dinghy/boat or paddle board just a few hundred metres down the coast from the heaving beaches, you'll find yourself on a beach that can only be accessed by sea or an incredibly treacherous cliff path. There's only ever been one or two other groups there at the same time on about 150m of sand. Upon arrival, I like to fire up the BBQ then light a cigar and wait for the coals to get hot, just sitting back with a cold beer and cigar while the kids and our friends kids play in the water is absolute heaven for me. There's something about the place that's just magical. Once the cigars done, I BBQ too much food and then get in the water myself! Looking forward to the summer already.

I enjoy smoking with friends the most, but there's something about putting on The Rest is History or a Dan Carlin podcast, cracking a cold one, and having a cigar after work.

Nothing like sharing cigars with friends. By far my favorite accompaniment. Unfortunately these days it’s most often solo smoking in my hot tub which is second best.

For me, its a combination of a great setting and some relaxing music. Often I will put in headphones at a great setting and relax, and sometimes that setting is just next to a firepit to contemplate things.

Apparently I am part of the masses as the "Great Setting" criteria leads on at 40%. Although every cigar moment is a treasure, finding a great setting is special for the memory of the occasion. This is true for me when travelling and finding a cigar spot somewhere new. The photo below is from an English countryside, a cold winter night around Luton Hoo. It was freezing and hence the modest vitola.

For me, I’ve got to have the music. In the garage, in the Cigarden, or out of town somewhere, I need my tunes. Even if I’m watching a game or a race, sound is off and music is on. I love to match the music to the cigar. Mongrel and Metal or sublime and Pink Floyd for examples.

I really enjoy smoking with mates, good drinks and great tunes. But I also equally love just smoking alone, not even with a book or tunes, and just letting my mind wander...

A great setting with good mates is a nice combo, and watching sports is also fun… although I can get easily distracted. My favorite, though, might simply be here on my own back porch.
