Don't judge me. I was gifted this, and it was during a walkthrough for a job so I was gracious. And yes, I have aged well.

Enough about me. 

So the guy said " I have a Cohiba for you guys". We are in foo foo Carmel and I was told this dude was an afficionado. I'm thinking Siglo, Coro, something. Nope. Freakin' red dot. Having never smoked one I had an open mind.

1st third. Crap.

2nd third more boring tobacco. I picked out no flavors whatsoever. 

Final third. I shudder to think what this guy paid for this travesty. I really have an aversion to Cuban brand names being used in a New World market. The only ones I ever like were the original Gloria Cubanas. That was like 30 years ago.

Bottom line is these suck.

1996 I smoked my first La Gloria Cubana Wavel Maduro. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo was on a roll and making some superb sticks. Once it went from boutique to mainstream...the magic ended
