Ok, so I’m writing this in a dark room, with only the glow of a laptop screen on my face, and occasionally look over my shoulder, as I publicly admit on this forum that….I’m a U.S. citizen that owns...Cuban cigars. Do the US Feds monitor this site? They may send me to jail for this, but it’s worth every puff! I did try to go straight more than once, and purchased perfectly legal New World cigars in large quantity (yes, the good ones), but after smoking a dozen or so, ended up giving them all away, and now lead a life in hiding due to my lust for the Cuban leaf. To all the New World lovers I apologize, but to me there is no comparison. Now maybe these comments seem extreme, but my wife says I’m a criminal !! Which could be for reasons other than my cigars, but she likes to rub this point in anyways.

      I was lead astray at a young age by my grandfather, who was an avid cigar smoker, and literally wore a suit every day of his life. Classy guy. I was hooked by the aroma, and can remember the smell to this day (60 plus years later). Surprisingly I never picked up the habit until later in life, but am now addicted to the rituals and pleasures of a Cuban smoke, and this life of crime. 

      I’m hoping to expand my knowledge beyond the YouTube claptrap, so thank you all for allowing me to join your community, and even though I don’t follow the U.S. laws, I will try to abide by your rules of conduct and decency, with what little I have left.

BTW, my grandfather lived to be 90 plus years old. So much for the health risks of cigars!
