This is intentioned to be an ongoing thread. 

This thread is a "shout out" to 94 Point + cigars that members have smoked in the past day/week.

So how will we define a 94+ point cigar for this thread. 

The cigar is exceptional in the essential characteristics of  Flavour, Complexity, Construction. A 94+ cigar will make you stop everything else that you are doing to focus on its unique magnificence. You are stunned at the level of perfection, engagement and layered journey that this cigar delivers. 

They are a rare cigar experience. Howwever when they hit it is not something that you will likely forget. 

When you come across them, give them a shout out here with a box code/pic if you can.

I posted this earlier in the week. 

I previously said I thought it was a 2024. I went back and double checked. 

TSA SEP 23

I have since smoked a further four from the box this week and while 90 point in the main, none have come close to this one cigar. It looks to have been an outlier.

UME ABR 15 Esplendidos FOH PSP

Absolutely gorgeous. Perfect construction and evolution of flavours. Medium throughout mostly, but really picked up in the last third. The other person and I picked up notes of aniseed in the first third. Baked bread some light honey and spice along with a little shortbread. The only downside to this Cohiba was that the finish was little short. That said, still incredibly complex. 96 points

Esplendidos have been my favorite cigars for about 20 years now. These Reservas from ‘03 have been stellar from the get go. This one was no exception. Near perfect from first puff to last. 95/100

Solid 94

Sometimes I get bodyguards on deals that are better than what I was actually aiming to get.

My Father rolled, pre-2012 release. Dark yellow cello.

Every puff is slightly different, a rolling cacophony of flavor and texture. Never bitter or sour, always rich tobacco. Creme varying from citrus to chocolate, texture starts at silken and morphs to velvet. Some Lusi & MC#2 vibes.

Incredible. Perhaps I am caught in the moment knowing this is irreplaceable, a gift between cognoscenti. Looking at notes, odd ball yellow MF hit me between the eyes every time...

A RASCC from yesterday got pretty close to the 94 point score for me. It was certainly influenced by the setting and the fact that I finally broke the bubble of smoking in my car.

This Winnie. I think from '21. Smoked a couple weeks ago and I never wanted it to end. Easy 96 if we are going by a standard rating system. I called it almost perfect in my mind.

I was gifted this 2014 MDO2 from an amazing BOTL, the best cigar I have smoked in a number of years. In my head 99 was the number and the only time I can ever remember thinking that as I smoked something was the SCDLH O'Eeilly from the book. That was a while back.
