Name the top 3 cigars on your bucket list for 2025.

Needs to be a cigar you've never had before, buying this year to rest for smoking in 2028 counts 😄

My Bucket List are cigars I have kept an eye on for a long time, yet have saved them for "one day".

I had decided at least by posting them here as a reminder and commitment to pursue in 2025:

1. Cohiba Lanceros

2. Trinidad Fundadores

3. Ramon Allones Gigantes

Gonna be a headache trying to find number 3 for me but I guess that makes good for a Bucket List.

Interesting list you have. All bangers. You said that Gigantes will be difficult for you to find this year? I feel like I’ve seen them up on 24:24 fairly often so far in 2025. Maybe just Baader-Meinhof phenomenon for me.

I really only have 1 new stick I’m searching for in 2025.. But am always ready to be convinced otherwise!

Great list!  I love CoLa and the Gigantes. I haven’t had great experiences with the Fundadores but I seem to be in the minority on this one. My 3:

1.  Partagas Serie E2 - purchased but resting before I smoke.
2.  Partagas 898 - seems to be a tough one for me to get but love Partagas and love the vitola size.
3.  Behike 52, 54, 56 - I know these can’t be worth the money but the curiosity has killed me for years and I’m thinking I will end up splurging on this.

Montecristo Especial

QD Imperiales

Monte A

The two Montes will be tough to get I'm sure.

The word "fortunate" never crossed my mind when I bought a 52 when they first came out. Asking whether they are worth the current price is likely to trigger a world debate! Personally I would go for it but needless to say it must be in the right climate, probably in a cigar-only venue in evening time post-dinner with the right pairing, between single-malt, premium bourbon, bordeaux or maybe chamomile. That would be quite a highlight.

I really look forward to the reviews for this, wishing it becomes a timeless release.

I am still new to the game for sure, but here is my list:

- Finally trying the RASS I have resting

- Cohiba Lanceros - need their availability to line up with when I have my checking and savings figured out

- LGC Medaille No. 4

There are three Cubans I'm really looking forward to trying for the first time this year, that I have a few sticks of in my possession already.

  • Cohiba Esplendido
  • Upmann Connoisseur B
  • Quai D'Orsay No. 52
  • Non-cuban entry - Fuente Opus X Perfecxion 888 (dahlia)

I, too, would love to try a Monte Especial, but am going to have to find it to buy it first 😉

1. Cohiba Lancero (own and resting but they are ready ENE 21).

2. Cohiba Behike 52 or 54 (own but resting ‘22) looking for occasion and weather to bust these out with a friend and have one.

3. QDO Imperiales. Don’t have. Love most of the QDO lines.

Not much from a Cuban POV, but I’m yet to try it LGC Turquinos and would like to if the chance presents itself.

I’m quite excited to try the Bond Roberts 109. It’s been talked about for a while and I enjoy the little brother.

I will also pick up some of the Plasencia Honduran puros if I see them (think it’s 151).

I will join the ranks with (1) Cohiba Lancero (2) Ramon Allones Absolutos and round it out with (3) Por Larranaga 47.

I am also itching to try the Ramon Allones Perfectos. I had a friend in Mexico over the weekend and was close to getting a box but alas no dice.

There's a handful of sticks that I have I've been meaning to get to:

2015 BCG

01 VR Classicos

In regards to new stock the only one that really jumps to mind for me is the QDO Imperiales. Heard some awesome things, just can never justify buying the full box/humi.

Thanks to this post for giving me a good kick in the butt, I bought a box of 52 and 54 today. Tons of coin but at least my curiosity won’t be at 110% after I get for try them!

Kind felt like I missed the train on the Davidoff Millennium Lanceros, its getting more difficult to find compared to when they first came out.

This is a proper solid list but despite the praise for the 47 and it sought-after status (deservedly perhaps)...it's just a bit difficult to comprehend the price it commands.

Its one of those cigars that I think has achieved a price determined by collectors more so than connoisseurs.

Then again maybe I'm just out of tune with the pricing of REs in todays cigar economy.
