Popular Post David8406 Posted February 18 Popular Post Posted February 18 I was gifted a 4-pack of these for Christmas and decided to try one this weekend. This is a 54 x 5.5 in cigar so quite hefty. The wrapper was about a Colorado rosado and appearance was perfection. I was driving down the interstate so not much to say about smell or cold draw. I can say that the construction, burn, aroma, draw and smoke output were all on point. I did not get a lot of tongue-coating pepper with this cigar like many NW cigars and that was refreshing. It started out on the mild side and certainly evolved throughout…probably finished a little over medium. I picked up on cedar and berry flavors, but being in the car with the window cracked limited my ability to pick up on subtle flavors. I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar. The next will be from the back deck so I can give it more attention and I am looking forward to it. In my area B&M, these are on the pricy side ($40/stick). 9
MrFolgers Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I think vitola matters a lot for Davidoff blends. I love the Nicaragua Diadema, but don't like the others. Same thing with the Late Hour in Churchill. Don't like the other vitolas. 1
