Popular Post eaglebear29 Posted February 6 Popular Post Posted February 6 Just got these in a small pack so not sure on the age. Could be 5 years for all I know, there basically ROTT with me only a couple days. Not a whiff of ammonia. Initial light up: Soft fluffy sourdough with sweet cream. End of First 3rd: Half shot of espresso in sweet cream. With notes of sourdough. Medium light in strength. End of Second 3rd: It’s now toasted golden brown sourdough dipped in 2 shots of espresso with sweet cream. Medium in strength. End of Final 3rd: Triple shot of espresso with sweet cream. Very smooth. It dances between balance of the 3 main flavors and then back to espresso being the main note every other puff. Huge amounts of Cuban twang at the end. Amazing. I’m going to love savoring these smoking slower without the cold dry wind. either way a great companion for a beautiful cold walk. Medium+ in strength. Nub/pipe-worthy: Absolutely on both, I don’t have my corn crutch but it’s getting nubbed nonetheless, then in the Falcon it goes. Final thoughts: It gets such a good rating for the amazing Cuban twang at the end. For not too many flavors it was still a crescendo cigar. These flavors constantly danced around from being balanced, to one note really standing out, but not taking over completely, and being so flavorful with the intensity at the end back and forth from balanced to the intensity. Everything kept picking up. Fantastic little cigar and very impressed. No harsh edges. The flavors were smooth, even while picking up in intensity. I’ll now have to get a box. 92/100: It gets such a good rating for the amazing Cuban twang at the end for this Petit Robusto. For not too many flavors, it was still a crescendo cigar. These flavors constantly danced around from being balanced, to one note really standing out and being intense, but not taking over completely, and being so flavorful. Everything kept picking up. Time: 1hr 20min in the cold Alaskan wind. 10
MagicalBikeRide Posted February 11 Posted February 11 Monte Petit Eddie for me - I get tons of that twang and when they’re on, they’re great. 1
