Initial Light up: 65% crème 35% dark espresso with a closed foot.

End of First 3rd:

Balanced espresso with a shot of milk and a dash of macadamia/hazelnut combo creamer. Amazing flavors. The creamer notes buzz in and out. Medium to medium+ from the get go. This would be perfectly paired with coffee and the noted creamer. Such a good cigar so far.

End of second 3rd:

The creamer has upped to more of a dash over the faint notes. Wow. Darker and more full espresso. Tastes almost of a lighter roast with how balanced it is now with the flavored creme.

Medium + in strength to full at the end of this 3rd. The 🐝 I took a picture with is now following around my cigar😆

End of Final 3rd:

There’s now an extra shot of espresso and more of that delicious hazelnut/macadamia creamer. Got one hint of dark floral honey that was wild. Wow ramped up to full strength.

Final thoughts:

What a great cigar. The killer bee describes this cigar well. Small but packs a little punch while being very well balanced like the colors on the Bee itself. Overall same flavors but still a crescendo cigar building in strength; and with the creamer becoming pronounced. Definitely recommend. I’ll be getting a box. I wanna let some of these guys rest and see if that floral honey note becomes more prevalent.

Nub/Pipe-worthy: Absolutely on both. Was phenomenal for such a nice small vitola. No harsh edges at all

Final Score: 93/100

Would be a 94 if not for the tighter draw at the end despite brining the v-cut out to make a cross cut.

As my palate has changed I’m not as much into the “heavy darker” cigars but this one was great. Was suprised by the flavor. Heard good things, but wow. Definitely worth checking out.

There are not many brands like Blackworks/Black Label that are producing better full bodied cigars in the industry. They are one of my favorite factories and always put out quality smokes.

That’s great to hear. This only reinforces trying some more. A lot of flavor for being so full bodied. I loved the balance in this one. I’ve heard nothing but good things. What are your favorites by them that you’d recommend?

So the Orthodox (if you can find them) and the Intergalactic Event horizon were released last year and they are two of the best releases of 2024. Core line blends I like Santa Muerte and the Porcelain is a really good Connecticut.
