Olie364 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Wife and I are heading to Vietnam in two weeks for our Honeymoon. We will be making our way from Hanoi to Saigon over 15 days with stops in between in Hoi An and Quy Nhon. She agreed I needed to check out the LCDH in Hanoi and Saigon and even have a cigar and get dinner at LCDH Saigon one night. Just looking for any general recommendations or tips from those that have visited those two LCDH locations. I am afraid the amount of stock I have heard about in Saigon will be overwhelming and I will just hand them my wallet. Most interested in looking for some AP Regionals to bring home or a box or two I don't often have access to. Thanks in advance FOHers! 1
HenryMartin Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Congratulations! Such an exciting newlywed destination. Wish to make the trip to Vietnam this year but need to go to Bangkok next month for a Bachelors first and then Saigon is next. Never been there. Really hope FOH can share insights. Also perhaps great cigar spots beyond the famed LCDH. 1
Popular Post tbelle7 Posted January 25 Popular Post Posted January 25 I go to Saigon often on business. LCDH is located across the street from Park Hyatt Saigon. Inventory varies depending on the timing of your visit relative to when they receive their shipments. Retail on the first floor, lounge (pictured below) on the second floor, Bar / Lounge / Nightclub with live band etc...on the third floor. Service is great, staff is friendly. Prices are surprising. There are 3 or 4 other cigar retailers in the city. LCDH is the best. Side note - there's an excellent Argentinian Steakhouse three doors down from LCDH (El Gaucho). I was at LCDH Saigon 5 1
Binnu u Tratturi Posted January 25 Posted January 25 There are some videos on youtube about the Saigon LCDH. My family’s village is about 30 minutes away from Quy Nhon, it is fun for about 3 days and then you’ll want to go back to the big cities. 1
