When the air raid sirens hit,Iommi's perfect guitar tone,Geezer's rolling bass lines,Bill Ward mashing the drums, and you're waiting for it to kick in with Ozzy. A masterpiece of a song from the album

Love it hate it.....you can't deny it's place in history.

and never more thrilling than when Springsteen opened one of his greatest ever concerts in Brizzy with it, and a dozen stunning women in black evening gowns playing violin.

so cool :cigar:

one of the greatest concerts i ever saw was Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall late 80s. Mark Knopfler on lead and Phil Collins on drums (shaking stevens was also involved but not sure that was a positive). brilliant night, although that was back in the days i had my own box there so that always helped.

backstreets by Bruce. i have heard this probably well over a thousand times and the opening never fails to send chills up the spine.

apparently, when some officials at CBS were worried that there were too many long songs on the album, Bruce thought he could shorten this by cutting out the opening, thinking it mmight be a bit too orchestral in nature.

jon Landau, his legendary manager, simply said, do that and i quit. thankfully!!
