Popular Post eaglebear29 Posted Thursday at 09:56 PM Popular Post Posted Thursday at 09:56 PM Puro Desnudo - Petit Corona N4 5 1/8in (130mm) x 42 Initial light up: Smooth sourdough w/ hints of cocoa in my coffee with 1in of raw cream from the neighbors' cow. Wonderfully balanced. Very smooth start. End of First 3rd: the cocoa, raw cream and coffee is so well balanced with the sourdough. Now tasting a touch of dark honey or molasses, not too sweet but just right here towards the end of the first. Strength is medium+ very smooth nd of Second 3rd: All the flavors have intensified. Delicious. Turning out to be the cigar I have been hoping for. They just needed a nap. It tasted so clean the cocoa is refined, the dash of honey is dark, the cow creme is raw with the creme on top; and the sourdough is toasted. Great flavor. Great medium+ strength, maybe a touch above that at the end. Well balanced and smooth. End of Final 3rd: As the flavors and strength built it remained ever so smooth. Cocoa, toasted sourdough, raw cream and dark raw honey full of flavor. The dark honey being more pronounced. Medium+ to full strength and ever so smooth. Amazing. Faint ammonia wants to creep in thanks to the Californian winds but leaves. I can’t complain, it’s beautiful out and sure beats Alaska's cold right now. Final thoughts: Could be molasses I was tasting but more reminds me of a batch of dark, raw, unfiltered farmstand honey; full of flavor. This is my 3rd or 4th one and finally getting what I was hoping for. I’ve had a (25) bundle for 7 months and after 1 month, no bueno. 3 months I was surprised cause it went into a fermentation; making it one of the harshest sticks I’ve ever had. Not its fault, it just wasn’t ready. This was its redemption stick. Great experience. Awesome price. This cigar has more potential as well. I can see it sitting at 94-95 after some more time down, maybe even a 96; we’ll see. It improved with every 3rd ever so slightly making it a crescendo cigar! Time: 1hr 20 min in the California wind Nub/Pipe-worthy: Nub-worthy yes it’s great not a hint of ammonia anymore, pipe-worthy absolutely it’s going in the falcon right now. It tasted great. Score: 93/100 5

Thank you, I’m glad these ended up being a hit as it’s one of my favorite sizes for the cold winters in Alaska. Or just for those shorter on time moments. I smoke very slow though, would be probably still around 1hr40min - 2hr time for me in the cold humid weather there 😆. Definitely recommend. 10 hours ago, griller said: Love your reviews & pics. It’s been fun as my palate has been developing to where I can pick up new and different notes. A bundle is definitely worth it, I see them getting better. 1
