How can we improve FOH in 2025?

We had a mods meeting Sunday/Monday and received some great input. 

However, none of us have a mortgage on great ideas and so I put this out to all members. 

Keeping in mind that FOH has no interest in playing within the 'hoi Palloi" pool of the new post 2021 Habanos world. What improvements can we make. Where would you like to see things progress? What can we do? Yes, we do have some limitations in respect to board software, but we have a great team.

Honestly, it's hard to. 

Most sites seem to be run by the inmates. Good mods and a good community. 

Aside from that - coming out with a shorter Carlota at 4 or 4.5 x38 in a 50 pack would be bliss. Then again, I'm just a guy.

I appreciate the effort in customer service and continuous improvement.

I want more poker players. Lately they just fill up a table. It's too easy (for me, not you @Nevrknow ) to win. I don't think if it succeeds, it doesn't affect any on Czar's FCF.

I don't even know if it's possible or not but why not create a "virtual lounge" that would be open 24/7 ? 

I'll try to explain myself... "You're home alone, smoking a cigar and feel like meeting and having a chat with a botl/sotl ?? No problem, just jump in !"

Maybe a Zoom lounge like you regularly do here but one any member could connect to any time he feels like it ? Living in France it's always hard for me to join your sessions given it's the middle of the night for me 😅

It's probably my VPN (as I have the same issue on both mobile and laptop) rather than the site but it can takes ages to load when 24:24 goes up and it can be 3 or so minutes before I can get into the site (and that can mean being greeted by "ALL SOLD" straight away). Same with BR. BR often has 3-5 minute hang times logging in. 

I thought this was the reason I've spent 4-5 months failing to get the LGC Turquinos, but now I see from another thread that's due to @chasy nailing them all and to quote Steve Fry from Blackadder, "That's him, that's the man!! AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!" 😉

However the lag and Chasy have both saved me some serious coin in 2024 😅

I've always greatly enjoyed when FOH have been able to make a real world difference to people in need.  Whether it was the cigar shop in St Martin that got devastated or helping @ElJavi76 relatives rebuilding their home, I've always been proud to take part. The combination of helping good people and the outside chance of winning a great box of cigars...I think is always a winning formula.

I like this idea. Maybe not for it to be a 24 hour open lounge, due to technical problems, but somehow a dedicated thread everyday and with a dedicate FOH member Zoom link so that any member can join.

Well, you asked. I’ve been thinking about this for a while. And It may be an issue with my location and not this website.

Some long threads like recent acquisitions, food, and reviews have a very large number of posts with photos. Often these threads load slowly or not at all. Your Latest CC Purchase has over 20,000 posts and I don’t look at it as often as I might for this reason. Maybe letting very old posts fade away a bit will free up space and make such  threads more accessible for browsing without waiting.

Other than that, I think this is about the best run chat forum I’ve been on, not that I’ve been on many, and the whole crew is to be commended for the success you enjoy.

But you can't do that!!!! I routinely like to look at people's major scores in 2013 and in turn want to self harm.

I was thinking about this recently too! One thing I do with my buds is that we're on Discord where group voice is available 24/7, there are times where we get off work at different times but just hang in the voice chat listening to music and another one pops in when they are available. We could even do a massive group smoke session with 50 people all around the world. Would FOH be open to having a Discord Channel? Modern times!

Would love to see more sampler packs on 24:24 to try different marcas/vitolas and get a chance to try some more expensive sticks without having to buy a quarter box of each.

Please remove the 1/4 box offering if the goal is to sell a full box, and only offer a 1/4 box if the full box doesn't sell. I rather you didn't offer a 1/4 box if there's no way to know if it's actually available. Hopefully I don't have that wrong. I also want to say thank you for providing us the chance to obtain any of these cigars at reasonable prices to begin with. We're lucky to have all these offerings without having to physically go into a store.
