Is that the "Roxy" Petit Robusto?

LAT52 maybe? I’ve been eyeing those as well.

My NC discovery for 2024 would be the Plasencia Reserva 1898 robusto (at 4 3/4x52 it's the same size as the LAT52).

@HoyoFan @TacoSauce, I'm not the best with flavor notes. I would describe it as creamy and cedar like sweet wood. The construction is spot on with tons of viscus smoke. It’s is the LAT 52. Strength is medium.

EP Carillo - The Pledge

Finished a box of these faster than expected, apparently won cigar of the year 2020 by Cigar Aficionado.

Preferred it to the more popular and praised Encore.

I'm halfway through a box of Lonsdales. It is a great blend. I wish the Lonsdales were regular production, can't find them anymore.

I had a Plasencia Alma Fuerte in Limassol which was the best NC I had in 2024. I was impressed enough to buy a box.

Which was your favorite vitola?

While the lancero is my favorite, I have to admit I'm also a sucker for salomons!

Received an Illusione Epernay Lancero (Le Elegance maybe?) in the 2023 Ho Ho Ho exchange. I smoked it in January 2024 and really enjoyed it, so I bought a box of Epernay La Matin almost immediately thereafter since I like the Churchill/Lonsdale-ish size. I Just smoked one last week, box is date stamped '20 or '21. Again, a terrific cigar with tons of smoke, leather, rich dark sugar-roasted coffee, slight cream, and mild pepper. Turned the garage into a cloud for a while. Couldn't slow down on it. I'll try sipping the next one a little better. I don't know if the slight aging helped since online reviews referred to strong pepper and bitterness, mine did not have that. I'd certainly buy them again.
