Bri Fi Posted January 8 Posted January 8 @HoyoFan @TacoSauce, I'm not the best with flavor notes. I would describe it as creamy and cedar like sweet wood. The construction is spot on with tons of viscus smoke. It’s is the LAT 52. Strength is medium. 1 1
Popular Post Cigarsmoker81 Posted January 8 Popular Post Posted January 8 Padron family reserve 45 years natural. This thing was good. So far in 2025 it’s 85 years Padron. Padron makes great cigars. 5

Blazer Posted January 13 Posted January 13 While the lancero is my favorite, I have to admit I'm also a sucker for salomons!

Chibearsv Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Received an Illusione Epernay Lancero (Le Elegance maybe?) in the 2023 Ho Ho Ho exchange. I smoked it in January 2024 and really enjoyed it, so I bought a box of Epernay La Matin almost immediately thereafter since I like the Churchill/Lonsdale-ish size. I Just smoked one last week, box is date stamped '20 or '21. Again, a terrific cigar with tons of smoke, leather, rich dark sugar-roasted coffee, slight cream, and mild pepper. Turned the garage into a cloud for a while. Couldn't slow down on it. I'll try sipping the next one a little better. I don't know if the slight aging helped since online reviews referred to strong pepper and bitterness, mine did not have that. I'd certainly buy them again. 1

unaslob Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Hard to beat the Puro des Nudo Lancero. Also the CAO Amazon basin was a surprisingly complex smoke for me. 1
