dicko Posted December 13 Posted December 13 A bit out of left field but one of my guilty pleasures / favourite YouTube rabbitholes is the UAP/UFO/alien topic. I'll start by saying Ive never thought about it too much other than a couple of campfire stories of strange lights in the sky etc. However in the last couple of years the topic has really piqued my interest after I listened to several interviews with Commander David Fravor (retired navy) about his sighting and interaction with a UAP "craft" while flying a f/a 18 super hornet over california coast during pre-deployment training. From what I can tell this guy is as squeaky clean as you get - TOPGUN instructor, carrier group flight wing leader etc and just seems like a totally normal bloke also. Several others like him have similar. Images and video of these craft have been captured by our advanced tech. Like undeniably they exist whatever "they" are. So have been following it and in particular two congressional oversight hearings on the topic in the last 12 months. Both can be watched on YouTube. Essentially the core allegation is that elements of the US gov and/or defence contractors are aware of and covering up the existence of non-human intelligence / UAP and actually have retrieved craft and are attempting to or have reverse engineered them. Basically back in the 40s and 50s they decided to shove this stuff into black programs and only now it is starting to leak very heavily. Pretty amazing stuff and the calibre of people talking about it, on oath, is highly credible and its in actual legislative text. Throw in "drones" over new york & new jersey and manchester airports etc and 2024 is ending with this stuff pretty out in the open if its on your radar. What does everyone think? Weather balloons? Human advanced tech? ET? Future humans watching over their meatheaded ancestors so we don't blow ourselves up? Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk
gormag38 Posted December 13 Posted December 13 It's certainly an interesting time to be alive in relation to UAP sightings. For me it mostly splits into two groups; truly unexplained and top secret aircraft/drone testing (be it from a foreign adversary or our own govt). I did see recently that that famous GOFAST UAP sighting that was going in and out of water and accelerating/shifting directions at high speeds was now being questioned. Interesting stuff. 1
BrightonCorgi Posted December 13 Posted December 13 The drones are from a foreign adversary. If they were not, the government would say what they are. 2
El Presidente Posted December 13 Posted December 13 I will be seeking out this rabbit hole Sunday afternoon over a cigar. thanks Dicko 1
Li Bai Posted December 14 Posted December 14 I find it pretty interesting, these guys have seen things for sure but what was it? I don't expect governments to fully disclose everything they know of though, what we can access is probably only the tip of the iceberg 🤔 As our former President Jacques Chirac used to say "ça m'en touche une sans faire bouger l'autre" though 😁 2
BrightonCorgi Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Some reliable sources have told me that they are related to testing of large drone style planes. Archer Aviation anyone?

Greenhorn2 Posted December 14 Posted December 14 I have no faith in anyone actually telling the truth on the situation. I'll grab a cigar, set on the porch and watch for the lights.

You're assuming they didn't already know. Government knew it was a Chinese spy balloon the whole time but did not say it was until after. The Government knows everything. 4 hours ago, Greenhorn2 said: I have no faith in anyone actually telling the truth on the situation. I'll grab a cigar, set on the porch and watch for the lights. Do you think "fill in the blank" spy drone would enable running lights at night?
chasy Posted December 15 Posted December 15 US govt response - “you haven’t seen anything and there is nothing to talk about/” The gaslighting continues…
MrBirdman Posted December 15 Posted December 15 13 hours ago, BrightonCorgi said: You're assuming they didn't already know. Government knew it was a Chinese spy balloon the whole time but did not say it was until after. Umm, that’s not how I remember it at all. Within like 24 hours after the media first published the balloon story the DoD said it was a surveillance balloon, and I think the next day the Pentagon said it was thought to be of Chinese origin. All this was before the balloon was even shot down. This has been going on for weeks now, though the national media only got hold of it within the last week or so (I don’t watch cable news, but I’ve started getting texts from people who do asking me if I’ve seen one). This is also a more bizarre situation. If the state knows it’s a private company testing drones, why conceal it from the public? The uncertainty is what’s causing anxiety. If they were prototype drones with a camera, people probably wouldn’t be thrilled, but everyone and their mother can see a picture of your backyard on Google Earth anyway. If the drones are from a foreign power, where are they recharging every night? I don’t know what’s going on (well actually I do because I’m a former member of party leadership but I’m still too busy stealing the 2020 election to bother with getting all the details). I suspect that some of the sightings are planes mistaken for drones at night. As for the rest - a weird coincidence or prank (like the crop circles from years ago)? Maybe they are somehow foreign drones? If so, I’d like to know what is so interesting over central New Jersey! 1

A trial run to see how far they can go and what is the public's response? They want to know where the pain points are for adding an additional guard rail for the next lock down or what not.

BoliDan Posted December 15 Posted December 15 Weird stuff happening that we can tinfoil hat over. We recently heard loud booms at night sounding like sonic booms. It was apparently heard over multiple cities in the metro area. As a city that has fighter jets constantly buzzing over our roofs its hard to think it wasnt military but our airforce base denied any activity. https://denverite.com/2024/12/03/denver-big-bang-last-night/ 1

Popular Post LizardGizmo Posted Monday at 05:23 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 05:23 PM I've been seeing them for months, especially traveling on Routes 80 and 287 in Northern NJ. I've seen them above my house at least once a week for a few months. They're quite distinguishable from normal aircraft as they can sit in the same spot for 30+ minutes at a time. I'm not hysterical about it like a lot of the people I know, but the government gaslighting on the issue is pretty wild. Telling concerned citizens and municipalities to call the FBI ro report sightings is ridiculous. There's no way they don't know who/what it is. 3 2

The only thing that the government has been clear about in this whole thing is that looking up and pointing anything at these things, laser/gun/otherwise, is a federal offense with heavy penalties. Also, the risk of accidentally shooting down some sort of normal aircraft is high and any rational person would be terrified to kill someone. I'm not a gun enthusiast, but I'd also imagine given their size and height that it would require a high power rifle with a night vision scope and some damn good accuracy. 1

People tried shooting down that Chinese balloon which was impossible. A lucky shot with a rifle is possible on a drone, they’re only about 1000 feet in the air, but not suggesting for a moment anyone should try it! Some of the reported drones have been confirmed airplanes (and in some cases stars) so I understand why they’re worried about people trying to interfere with them. And to be clear I completely agree that they obviously know what’s going on. If it’s some kind of classified technology they may not want to admit it’s military since it could actually make them more tempting targets. 1
