am going to run this poll series over my current rotation cigars. We can expand from there.

If these cigars are in your rotation, please take part. Let's define rotation as  a cigar that is smoked at least once every four  months ;)

In terms of ratings, live with the points system as put forward. Some members use stars, others have a 10 point assessment process, others use bananas.......it doesn't really matter....just adapt as best you can. :ok:

I love them when they are on, but can be mediocre when they don’t deliver. I would say most are around 90 points for me

I look forward to tabling the result of the Robustos when done in a visual format. :ok:

I concur that when they are bland, they can be ordinary. When they are flavoursome, however, my gosh they can be great. I'm going through a 10 year old box at the moment and they've been generally great.

88-90. Only because so may lame years...the last 3 or 4 years they are the bomb 💣 90-93.

Too inconsistent for me to rate highly on average. I've had one box that would rate 90+, but I've been bitten by too many that just taste like rose petals without the honey sweetness. I've never had a plugged one, so that's a plus.

I'd love to give them another chance, but it's too much of a gamble with other reliable competitors.

Cheers

Worst most tasteless Cuban I have ever had. Bring back Upmann PC's, and axe this cigar. Waste of good tobacco, IMO.

Next to 2011 RA Extra, my favorite CC. Amassed boxes over last 3 years when they were invisible on Earth.

I have never seen one in person, lol!

Stellar when on. Amazing. Been years since I had one and even longer since I had an amazing box. Think it was a 2009 or 2011 box. Scared to try them nowadays given the price point and uncertainty.

Don't sweat it. You're not missing anything with these cigars. My 2c

Recent production (‘21-‘22) has been a step up from even 19-20 in my experience. I see these as being similar to PLPC in that, while they can be enjoyed young, they really need 5+ years to shine.

That said, at today’s price point I don’t blame anyone averse to buying them. 5+ years of aging was a fair price to pay for cigars like PLPC when they were around $4 a stick. Much harder sell at nearly triple that.
