Popular Post Ford2112
I went with my best pal to celebrate his having 30 years of sobriety. Trinity river in fall in Northern California is a great way to relax and play around with a bunch of willing steelhead! We landed over 20 between the 2 of us,plus a mix of salmon and jacks. Enjoy!

Ford2112
The fish aren't large, biggest I ever saw out of this stream was a 15 pounder. But the fall colors can't be beat and access is pretty much total along the entire length of the Trinity River.

Most hardware I use would be spoons. This trip we used cured roe.
KCCubano
Some nice looking fish. Is the fall salmon run starting on that river?

They get kings in September. By November they are pretty dark. The Klamath itself has more bright kings coming in.
