Use two Zip Lock bags and place the cigars in the deepest coldest freezer you can find (commercial grade is best).

Leave for 10 days to 2 weeks.

Take them out of the Freezer and place themin the fridge for 1 day.

Then on the Kitchen bench for one day

Then out of the bags and into the disinfected humidor.

If you have a commercial freezer available....wrap the humidor in a towel or blanket and freeze that too.

We ran a test on Monte 1's from the same box years ago. Froze six for 3 weeks and left 3 weeks to stabilize. Six of us Taste tested against the original unfrozen stock. No discernible difference outside of the aroma which was sweeter (more cocoa) on the cigars which had been frozen.

The commercial freezer will help the cigars from cracking by expansion, so specially if you want to freeze a large stock be very picky about this.
