Sydney NSW cigar peeps!

Anyone know of in-person cigar enthusiast hangouts, events etc? My research did not yield anything unfortunately, not even a decent lounge to go to :( 🫥

Welcome to FoH, @Sia! Honestly, there used to be a few places we used to go to to enjoy a cigar in Sydney but as time has passed that number has dwindled. We do go on occasion to Touka's Restaurant in Parramatta. Perhaps @Fuzz or @Luca can suggest a few more places?

Do we have a group of Sydney siders who get together and organise through the forum? I would love to come and meet people and share a stick! I understand if it is not open to new members though given that I joined only recently.

On the contrary, the next time we have an outing at Touka's or other establishment that allows cigar smoking, we'll let you know.

🙏

Welcome @Sia

Thank you @JohnS for linking me into this thread.

l'm in the Sydney CBD often. It's a bit hard to find a good cigar place now that Cohibar has been knocked down.

Hemmesphere is nice. More of a posh place to smoke in. It's above the Establishment. Haven't been there in years though.

Civic hotel is kinda ok. Their smoking area turns into kind of a night club later on at night.

Edinburgh Castle on Pitt St you can smoke at and have a drink. Not the nicest smoking area in summer.

@baragh ,  @ATGroom and I recently went to the Rawson at the Rocks. They have a humidor there too (will and I believe it's the same humidor from Cohibar). It's a lovely place to smoke but we did get a couple of weird looks haha.

@baragh also went to shell house recently and said they have a decent smoking area.

If you're around the city after work and you'd like to have a quick beer and smoke please PM me. Getting busier this time of year but will try and say hi!

Have a nice evening.

Luca

You clearly know your Sydney cigar locations Luca! I have only tried The Rawson with a mate and it was a nice place; also checked out the cabinet humidor! It'd be awesome to connect. I'll PM you.
