One of the big Aussie Football Finals is on Saturday afternoon as our local team the Brisbane Lions competes for the AFL premiership flag against the Sydney Swans.

DI is a passionate Lions supporter.  However, watching a Lions game with her is ….well…stressful.

It can’t be that bad you say?

The swearing begins at the “welcome to country” followed by a not so flattering analysis of the rendition of the Australian National Anthem.  First bounce and she is into it. Umpire receives an almighty spray, calls are made for game evictions, the word “grubs” is used extensively, neighbours within one mile slam windows and cover the ears of their children. Di can’t sit. She paces the house throughout the game….well…like a caged lion. TV is turned on and off dependent on the flow of the game, head in hands one moment and fists pumping with accompanying expletives the next.

I have learnt not to ask any questions or proffer an opinion/thought. Game over and she reverts back to her human self within 20 minutes. 😉

Go the Lions. For the Love of God….please win!

Normally (outside of the week before Christmas), the process for hand- picked stock is that each weeks orders for the prior week are brought up each Monday from the warehouse and shipped that week. If you order on a Saturday/Sunday there can be a few days extra delay (as it falls into the following weeks cycle). Similarly if you order on a Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri then they go out the following week 99% of the time. Public holidays can occasionally throw a spanner in the works. 

If you have multiple orders then they will be scheduled but the team will correspond with you.
