It's a bit odd to see Jasim promoting NCs (Rocky Patel). Is he out of line for promoting NC and should he only promote Habanos? Speaking of Rocky Patel, how would you rate his cigars compared to that of Padrons and Fuentes...

I am not a Rocky fan and I don't think they come close to Padron or Fuente. I had a mix of his cigars when I started this hobby and their flavor profile isn't for me. That being said, his advocacy and involvement in cigar rights is amazing.

Been like 15 years since I tried a Rocky Patel. A friend smokes them exclusively, albeit he lives in Naples, FL so go figure.

I have liked what I have smoked from Rocky Patel. The Vintage 1999 petit coronas are decent little smokes .

The first cigar I ever smoked was their 15th anni in 2011 (No. 6 cigar of the year). My friend and I picked up the cigar somewhere in Baltimore on our way to Bogota in Atlantic City. I haven't smoked a RP since then and it seems to me like Rocky has come a long way in the cigar industry.

I do enjoy his cigars. It's a plus that I go to the Rocky Patel Cigar lounge here in Chicago (actually in Harwood Heights) where they have all of his releases.

Wow. I can see why your friend goes there exclusively. The place is a palace.

I had no idea it looked that cool! Thanks for sharing. I have some of those lamps throughout my house!
