Popular Post El Presidente Posted September 17, 2024 Popular Post Posted September 17, 2024 I was treated to a surprise yesterday afternoon after a long lunch with great mate Justin Seldis. Justin stated that we were going to pop into Ronnie Scotts (Soho Jazz institution) to meet his friend and Jazz pianist legend, James Pearson. James was a delight and couldn't have been more welcoming. He sat us down and with his legends trio, punched out a 30 minute impromtu session. Brilliant If you are ever down London SOHO way and looking for some great jazz, Ronnie Scotts. 8 1
Meklown Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 Had a Vesper martini there some years ago that is still my favourite martini! Inspired by and named after this stunner. Pity we can't have a cigar in the club 🤣 3 1

ha_banos Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 Great spot Ronnie Scott's. And the 100 club! 1
DonMiguel Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 RS is definitely an institution for some of the Jazz and Funk greats! A must goto! Yet, Wine list though is iffy at best. and as if I recall the cigar smoking possibility is zero!

Glass Half Full Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 Almost "Reported" you Ken Jazz is life. Those that don't get it,...well, IMO, are missing out on life. All modern music has its basis in Jazz/Blues tenets IMO.
