Box code: AGO 18 (I didn’t save the factory code). Size: Coronas Gordas 46 x 5 5/8.

Finally put kids and wife to sleep, now time to sit and enjoy a cigar.

Nose/cold draw: looks like milk chocolate, smells like milk chocolate at the foot. Not much scent off the body. Been sitting in my collecting tupperdor for a few years and the other day I picked it out saying to myself I could die tomorrow might as well smoke a box of the 5 I’m collecting. Sat in my desktop humidor at 60ish RH 2 days

1st 3rd: straight burn line, medium smoke output. Very mild, although I am a few drams of scotch in. Smooth, mostly tobacco, some very mild hints of cocoa. No pepper. Ash falls off at 1/2”. Flavors want to punch through, but feel like they’re muted and held back. Maybe too much age?

2nd 3rd: burn is still great.  Smooth, still no pepper. Caramel in the backdrop, but finish is quick.  Not very interesting. 2-3 muted nuances.

3rd 3rd: razor burn, sweetness comes about, cream, cedar tobacco. Strength is definitely light-medium. Flavors open up but in the end I’m a bit disappointed -don’t get me wrong, this was a great cigar with decent, smoke output, good flavors, smooth; however I had a lot higher expectation of the cigar of the sage. I think that it is over its prime by this time.
