JoeyBones777 Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 First light- medium body with flavors of wood, earth, light pepper on the palate and a light fruity sweetness on the retrohale. First third- medium body with all the same flavors as first light, however, the earth morphed to more of a stout flavor. Second third- medium body with flavors of stout, which has hints of baker's chocolate and bitter coffee, and wood on the palate and light stewed stone fruit on the retrohale. Final third- medium-full body with flavors of stout, wood and coffee on the palate with light stewed fruit and light white pepper on the retrohale. Burn and draw were great throughout. Final score is 69, 5 pack worthy. This was actually not a good example from this box. I had one last week that would have scored in the high 70's. The flavors were lighter and, in some cases, a bit sharp. It was still very enjoyable but knowing what it should be caused a little disappointment. 1
