Popular Post cigaraholic
Haven’t smoked one of these in quite a while, but they’ve always been amazing. Two puffs in I had to open a nice bottle of vintage port it’s so tasty. Nicely filled with a beautiful maduro wrapper, draw is fine. Gorgeous flavors of dark berries, wildflowers and rich sweet tobacco. Smoke is silky smooth, medium bodied. No way I’d ever guess this had a Hoyo band, dark berries of RA and wildflowers of a LGC. But who cares about a band, this is great tobacco. Some nice dark coffee and rich Cuban soil flavor comes in just before halfway. The cigar gets a little heavier, nice briar earthy fruit but still stays floral. The cigar just kept getting sweeter and richer. A perfect dessert cigar, I can’t believe this thing burned for an hour and a half! The only thing wrong with it is it’s not 4 inches longer. I’ll make sure I decant the port before I light the next one.
