Hi there,

Quick one: fed up with the RH topic myself but why is my RH with boveda packs always highly positively correlated with temperature?

- boveda not quick to react to humidity changes?

- boveda very unstable with temperature?

- cigars moisture evaporates more quickly at increasing temps than boveda can absorb?

- I am a bit stumped.

Attaching a pic that's typical (not a long time frame but it is pretty much the same over weeks).

The temp change is not typical but it happened so I thought I use it as an example.

Thanks for any insights!

The data points you are showing are such a small sample and that drop in RH most likely is less than your hygrometer’s accuracy.

My experience with Bovedas is they are pretty quick at providing humidity and very slow at absorbing humidity.

I recommend reading this.....

Precisely why the strong positive correlation (continuously, across temps and magnitudes) is so confusing.

Thanks for that. I did try and anticipate this comment by stating "not a long time frame but it is pretty much the same over weeks".
